Back again....150th attempt!!

Hi guys! After talking to some of my friends over a picture I took of a Bioderma cleanser on Instagram, I have been unanimously asked to start blogging again. It kinda made sense seeing as spend most of my days googling swatches of make up while I really should be project managing something...so here goes!
On my new reboot of this blog I really want to focus on all aspects of beauty as well as fashion as I believe they go hand in hand.
I am proud to be a plus size girl who has steadily been loosing weight over the last 4 months - so look out for outfit ,as well as being a British Asian - where I can recommend make up colours and products for Asian skins.
So guys hopefully you'll give me a chance and join me in this journey into the world of blogging!

Nicki Minaj Pink 4 Friday...Worth it?

So there's been an absolute hyperbole surrounding the much (potentially) coveted Pink 4 Friday which has been cleverly brought in time for Nicki Minaj's album Pink Friday.

Ok...so I didnt wait up until 12am on friday to buy it, but im not going to lie and say that the thought hasnt crossed my mind whether to actually buy or not. By looking at swatches on temptalia and other blogs....i'm really undecided.

Earlier on this year there was the whole Viva Glam Gaga hype and i really REALLY wanted to join in with the hype and whip out my viva glam gaga while i was out on razz. But as much as it pained for me to admit....that shade of pink REALLY does not suit me. For reference I am a NC44 in mac and it just made me look really weird. I just have this sinking feeling that Pink 4 Friday is going to be the same case.

It's like i have a devil and an angel on my shoulder....i'm sure you guys will soon know whether i take the plunge or not!

This would be an ideal outfit for me if i was meeting an old friend and wanted to show them who i am now...and the fact i've left reebok classics and addidas tracksuits bottoms behind!

Erm...about 6 months later I FINALLY remember what my blog address is :S!!!

Ok guys, so it's taken me about 6 months but I finally feel inspired (as well as finally remembering what my address is - okay so I'm not the brightest spark around ha!) and ready to wow the world with my wit and wisdom....as I hope!

Over the past year or so, YouTube has really opened my eyes to the wonderful world of the beauty community and I would really like to make my very own contribution to this fabulous place.

Sooo....let me introduce myself. I'm Laxmi and i'm from London - one of THE fashion capitals of the world! I'm 24 years old and to me....fashion and make up is a way of expressing myself without having to tell the world everything about me.

I hope to now, keep updating this blog with the things I buy, looks that I love and fellow bloggers and YouTubers - which I hope will be interesting to you people out there in Cyberspace!

Jumping on the bandwagon?

After spending months reading blogs and being a spectator in the beauty/fashion blogging world, I have decided that I want to join this world of all things wonderful and put my 2 pence worth out there.
I don't know how it's all going to pan out, but I'm going to give it a go and hopefully you guys will enjoy the ride with me!
